Suzuki Alto

Suzuki Alto has withstood the test of time across eight generations and is a favorite of both new and used car owners looking for an economical and easy to drive vehicle. Comfortable, lightweight, and fuel-efficient, the Alto additionally pioneered the “Light Hood Van” class of cars, and has also been particularly favored by women. Alto  feature a 5-door hatchback and the option of a front-engine, front-wheel-drive or four-wheel-drive layout. Though small in capacity, the Alto’s 660cc series 3 cylinder DOHC engine packs a punch, producing an output of 54HP, all while keeping fuel consumption low at 19.4 to 24 km/l.

The Alto comes small in size, but not on safety. As safety features, the sedan models of the Alto are fitted with dual airbags and seat belts with pretensioner and force limiters as standard, while the van models come with brake assist ABS. Finally, the Alto has gained recognition for its low levels of emission, having been awarded the top and second exhaust emission grades of “Exemplary” y “Excellent” by the Japanese Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport, and Tourism
